Best Self-Hosted Database admin Tools

Self-hosted database admin tools put a web interface in front of databases you run yourself. Choose by engine first. phpMyAdmin is for MySQL and MariaDB, the interface most hosting guides assume. pgAdmin and pgweb are for PostgreSQL: pgAdmin is the full administration and development tool, pgweb a single Go binary for browsing tables, running queries and exporting results. Adminer covers several engines with one interface; its official Docker image supports MySQL and MariaDB, PostgreSQL, SQLite, SimpleDB and Elasticsearch out of the box. CloudBeaver is the web edition of DBeaver, a JDBC-based manager for PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite and many other databases. Every one of them is a login page to your data, so keep them on a private network or behind a reverse proxy with TLS and its own authentication, connect with least-privilege database users, and do not leave them publicly reachable.
